Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
You are invited to this free family event at the Society!
History for the Holidays originally was a Christmas wreath fundraiser for the Society.
Over the past nine years, our Holidays event has evolved into an opportunity to buy
one-of-a-kind gifts ranging from soap, leather, blown glass, woodwork, jewelry, knitting, artwork and pottery from eleven local Nevada artisans.
The museum store highlights Nevada books and a 20% discount is available on most store merchandise. The Society will be selling books by all seven of our authors. Come and meet these wonderful authors and learn more about their fascinating topics!
Raffle tickets will be on sale for the wonderful prizes donated by our artisans and authors. Tickets are $1 or 6 for $5, and the proceeds will go to the Docent Council educational programming fund. Purchase your tickets at the door!
Look at our flyer for the detailed list of artisans and authors. Ding our event, enjoy musical entertainment, refreshments and free admission to the galleries.
Don't forget about the annual Latimer Art miniature exhibit and all the items are for sale. This is the final opportunity for you to purchase original, affordable art by local artists.
The Society receives 10% of the sales that help benefit our Museum Art Collection fund.
We look forward to seeing you here.
